🏀 Can the Knicks Come Back from 3–1 and Eliminate the Pacers?
🔥 From Collapse to Comeback?
Down 3–1 in the Eastern Conference Semis, the New York Knicks looked cooked.
They blew a double-digit lead in Game 1, got torched in Indiana, and lost control of the series.
But now?
It’s 3–2.
The Garden is alive again.
And suddenly... we have a series.
🗽 Game 5: Brunson Woke Up the City
-
Jalen Brunson: 39 PTS, 7 AST, 5 REB
-
Knicks' defense: Forced 14 turnovers
-
Bench scoring: Knicks +14 over Indiana
The Knicks played like a team with nothing to lose — and everything to prove.
🧠 Can Indiana Close?
Tyrese Haliburton has been elite all series.
But in Game 5, the Knicks finally made him uncomfortable.
They blitzed pick-and-rolls, switched more, and turned Indiana’s spacing into chaos.
And let’s be honest — after blowing Game 1 in historic fashion, the Knicks know better than anyone how momentum shifts fast.
🏀 What It’ll Take to Win 2 More
-
Game 6 on the road: Knicks have to bring that same physicality — and avoid cold stretches.
-
Brunson needs help: Randle or Hart must step up.
-
Defensive focus: Haliburton can’t be allowed to control pace again.
🧠 Fufu’s Take
You don’t want to give New York hope.
This team plays with scars. And if they force Game 7 at MSG?
It’s not about talent anymore. It’s about who wants it more — and the Knicks have that dog in them.
That said… here’s my real take:
I think Indiana will finish it in Game 6.
They’ve got the momentum, and the home crowd will be behind them.
But this is the NBA — nothing’s guaranteed.
If Indiana were really in full control, they would’ve closed it out in Game 5.
And if they fail again?
Game 7 at Madison Square Garden is a different world.
The Knicks won’t lose that one.
Still, I think - Indiana in 6
4–2.
💬 What Do You Think?
Can the Knicks pull off the 3–1 comeback?
Or will Indiana finish the job in Game 6?
